I play world of tanks...it is a fantastic game for those of you who play games worth a look see. I have thought to model the tanks I use. My primary tree so far has been German. We all know how much of that is available. But I have started a russian tree recently. I progressed froma an MS-1 (T-18) through a Bt -2 , Bt-7 , A-20, and am at a t-34 /76. I have the MS-1 kit you can get a BT 2 & 7 in 72nd. An A-20? Looks like a little t-34. OK ther are multiple varieties of t-34 which is good casue my next one is a 85mmm version. Then it gets weird for me. a KV-13 (?) Then a IS 1 and 3 no problem but how about a Stalin 4 and 7?
The US is a nightmare all teh heavies are prefaced by T which stood for test
But I would really like to do an IS7...It was one wicked looking track

Nice to see a fellow gamer here. I am Ivantheterrible. Surprising, right?
In 1/35:
T-18 (MS-1) was available from AER I believe. It is a moderate kit.
BT-2 - conversion from RPM or full kit from Tom Modelbau
BT-7 - Tamiya
T-50 - from Mirage
A-20 - I think there is a old Accurate Armour model of this in resin?
T-34 - See DML line
T-28 - plastic kit from ICM/Alanger...and yes, 1 did have the 85mm gun added as a prototype
T-26 - several kits, Zvezda being the best
T-43 - scratchbuild conversion
T-44 - Accurate Armour kit
T-54 - TWS conversion of Tamiya T-55 is best bet.
KV-1 and KV-2 from Trumpeter
KV-3 - scratchbuilt conversion
IS-1 and IS-2 - best from Tamiya (Is 1 being the 85mm armed version)
IS-3 - Tamiya
IS-4 - wait for Commander's Models upcoming kit (there is a kit from now defunct Navigator that would be just the same as scratchbuilding)
IS-7 - possible Commander's Models kit in future (2012/13?)
And yes, for the american line there is a lot of resin from Commander's Models that will cover some of them.
For German stuff, see all major plastic kit manufacturers lines...they have mulitples....of even the paper panzers. Sigh.

I play as jdeltaarrow
I have run into IvantheOK, but I don't think you yet. I am running a KT, Panda, PZ35, T-34/76, and just started an American tree with a M2 Med so far.
I obtained the T-18 kit...now to look for the BT7 kit. How about an L T Tracktor or a Cunningham? My MS1 was my primary tier 1 tank...so I am kinda good to go with what I used. I am kitbashing a VK 3601 out of a Trumpy VK 3001 and a Tam Tiger 1 with a long 75/70 metal barrel

The Cunningham is the T1E2. Lots of other American stuff there.

THX for info Jacques. Way too much for the 'ham. Think I'll wait for the IS7 or 4 to drop a bundle on. I just popped for $235 + shipping from Japan for that new Yamato...so I am a bit over budget ...'til say March

I will wait to see what Commander's stuff looks like at AMPS Nationals next year in Auburn Indiana. With that high priced resin stuff, I want to look and feel it first. I got the Formations M4A3E2 Jumbo that way and no regrets on that...

I'm a player too, and obviously I'm edklingon there!
I really really really love my BT-2, and started a affair with a brand new T34.
