This is funny... just when Zvezda announces their kit after all these years! The more the merrier, I guess

I know its only CAD, but this one seems to be even better. I am saying this because I see the cast T72B turret, hope its a 2in1 kit.

Hmm looks interesting. I wonder whether they had this in the works and planned to announce at a later time or whether the Zvezda announcement has forced them to release this info.

Nice to see a possible attempt at the super Dolly Parton turret. Looks like I need to hurry up and build my miniarm stuff before hundreds of these things show up on competition tables!

The Russian "T-series" should not be too hard to make as models. After all, Perfect Scale Modellbau made a T-90 in resin, and the Concord T-80 and T-90 books have been out for quite some time along with their (I think 1/35 scale) line drawings of top, side, and front elevations. The long-OOP Darlington Publications book on Russian AFVs also has B/W photos and line drawings of the latest Russian T-tanks, and that book has been out for some time.

Plus there's a metric ton of outstanding walkarounds out there for details. I know I'm complaining because God forgot the hot sauce to go with my dropped manna but I wish Meng had been working on a T-80 series instead. With an honest to God T-90 out soon, i think that's the last desperate need for modern MBT's in plastic.

My thoughts exactly. The T-80 is still very much needed.

are you guys never happy???

now we have 2 different producents making the T90 we all been waiting for!

we can break the zvesda model to the ground after Meng comes out with a better one, or vise versa

who knows Meng might be working on a T80, they call it the T series...
just hope they don't go down the "made between 21 and 23 of november at this or that plant "T34's

be happy with what the modelmaking gods send us, and pray, pray to the plasic glue bottle, so the gods hear your cries for you wished kit

bow down to the god of plastic!

Has anyone heard any updates on these kits or are they still vaporware? After this Merkava I'm drooling over a T-90 with the cast turret from them!

I've heard that Meng is planning different versions of the T-90,one whit a odd compact turret whit "Gepard" style guns.

We wait all this time for a T-90 and then 2 come along at once. Same as the BRDM-2. Thanks for sharing.

The only ones I've seen listed are the T-90 with cast turret and the version with a welded turret (same as Zvezda's). Doesn't mean there won't be more, of course.

I'm waiting to see how good will Meng's T-90 be, that's why I haven't bought Zvezda's yet (I've been waiting for a T-90 for so much time already), I want to compare and buy the more accurate Best regards.
