Hello,

I'm looking for color and photo references of BTR-70 in Afghanistan, during the Soviet part of the war ...
I know there were some in two-tones camo (there is a Zvezda boxing), but of course it's not the one I've got .

So, I'm looking for the color ref. of that scheme and some reference pictures. I've been googling the web and this site but wasn't very succesful.

Any hint, links most welcome,

Thanks a lot Edouard, that will help much;

it seems that the second color was applied over the usual green, if I'm reading the pics corrctly. Was it fied or factory aplied- looks like a light grey.

Hey Stephane,

I have orderd a decal sheet for my maz 537 and T-62 in Afghanistan.
There is a mix of vehicles on the sheet including some BTR's.
The plaine green ones are Spetznats vehicles and the camouflage ones regular army vehicles.

the base color is green, some units applied the camouflage colors, grey black or even yellow as seen in some pics and some units preferred the over all green.
