I love the T-64 Series....very revolutionary for its day and set the standard for how a Soviet MBT is supposed to look like for nearly the past 50 years...
Too bad it was too advanced for its time and was never that successful...

Um.....T34, T34 and the T34!!!!! I especially like the 1941/42 models. I have about 12 of them in various builds - some started and some nearly finished.

The foldable flaps are commonly known as gill armour, they are designed detonate incoming shells and other projectiles prematurely, away from the hull.
They feature on T-64s and early T-72s

All that lovely artillery. 2S7 being my favorite "common", the super heavy Kondensator and Oka are also big favs.
And the BM-30 Smerch Multi-barrel rocket launcher.
And the mean look of the ASU-85 m1970...it looks like a angry turtle.

Too many to list just one, so I'll categorize
MBT: T64, sleek, mean, lowslung
Tracked APC: BMP2 higher tech looking than the 1 but still deadly looking, not like the boxy 3
Wheeled APC: BTR 80A upgunned and lethal looking.
SPAA: Tunguska by a mile! guns, missiles, and covered with greeblies!
Mobile SAM: SAM 6 big honking missiles boxy ugly greeblie launcher
Rocket arty: TOS mbt meets mlrs for the win.
But overall Mi-24
It's a tank, it's an apc, it flies..
What's not to love?

My favorites are the T-34 and BMP. Specifically....the T-34-85 from factory 183, the ones built in 1944 with the twin commander's hatches and round fenders. I also love the STZ Model 42, but, there is no good kit of that. I have the DML one half-built.
I am kinda hoping for a modern kit of the BMP. The paint jobs and weathering of those used in Afghanistan are pretty interesting. Like the T-34, it was such an innovative vehicle for its day.
I guess my other favorite "Soviet" vehicle is the M4A2 Sherman.

I asked the question but did'nt even answer it myself.
My favourite
MBT- Either T-72 or T-90, T-72 mass produced / looks great and T-90 it's sleek and menacing.
Tracked APC-BMD-2 it's squat and has a nice turret
Wheeled APC- I would say BTR-90 but thats pre Soviet era so its got to be the BTR-80 it looks fast
Wheeled Recon Vehicle- BRDM-2 it's like a van on steroids
Mobile Rocket- SA-6, it's beefy
Self-propelled AA- ZSU-23-4 Shilka, over armed
Self-propelled Art-Gvozdika it's got a great turret

I am going to agree with Jeff, the very underrated SU series of SPGs. Especially the SU-85M / SU-100.
T-34 got all the credit, but these vehicles were very important.

I would have to pick any thing that fires a SA, or SS Missile, But with all the diversity of the different wepon systems its a Hard pick.

I would have to go with the T-64 series as well. Ever since I first saw a line drawing in a old Popular Mechanics issue. I must have been in 6th grade or 7th. that must have been 30 years ago.....LOL! Hope Trumpeter does the series justice.....

Speaking of TRUMPETER, they have been promising a 1/16th scale SU-100 kit for almost 2 years now. I was kinda hoping to get it before the end of this year so I can make it my one and only Christmas gift ... to me. (us old guys over 50 don't ask for much)
It would be along the lines of their 4 T-34 kits and the King Tiger's they have released. I want two of them. One to display with removable panels and roof and the other to do what I like the best, R/C it.

For me it has to be the T-72, purposeful and looks like a sports car plus I've been in one, followed by the Su-100
