Tom,

I think it must just be a trick of optics. they are all rounds for the main gun and they are all the same size. Chalk it up to my photography skills, or lack thereof!!

Cheers,

Rick

This is a interesting kit. I didn't know it comes with the full interior. I'll be watching your build to decide if I want to attempt one myself, someday. I have to agree that the rounds on the left seem much larger than the ones stowed horizontally. Since you weathered the engine, do you plan on dirtying up the interior? And, it may be too late, but I would suggest(as was suggested to me by panzerbob01) that you invest in some turned brass rounds. For some reason brass paint just doesn't look the part with ammo. Keep building, never sleep.

Matt,
Thanks for looking on. I agree with you the brass paint just isn't all that, I was hoping that I would have some laying around but no such luck. As these will all be inside however I have decided to go the cheap route and just stick with the paint. If I were planning on entering this in some kind of contest I might spring for brass for the most up front rounds.

I like the horizontal mounted rounds better, they come all together in the clips and bracket unlike the vertical storage which must be built up using individual rounds. I guess I am a lazy modeler at heart!!

Hey everybody,

I have been having trouble getting the Kitmaker photo gallery and album to open (where I put all the photos before posting here) is anyone else having the same trouble? For the past week every time I hit the photo tab for the albums and galleries I get a message that says 'server busy, try again later'. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick

Rick;

Ditto for me over the past couple of weeks. But every once in a while I get into the photos... I think that maybe the server is jammed up with folks ending 2011 campaigns and posting more than average traffic of pics? Just a guess!

Hi Rick,

Open yourself a free photo bucket account, much easier. Since the server migration access to the Kitmaker photo site has been intermittent.

Then just copy and paste.

Great progress BTW.

Al,
Thanks for the good advice! Pretty easy deal, already had an account from awhile back that was dormant, got it up and running now.

Progress has been slow with a couple of other projects going at the same time, but here we are with the suspension fairly complete, if not painted, at this point. Next up will be a bit more of the hull sides, etc. Looking forward to clearing some time in order to get back to this one soon.

Well. it has certainly been awhile since I did any work on this guy. He has worked himself back into the starting line-up and on to the workbench.
I finished up the hull sides. In the photos they are not yet installed or weathered. I am going to try to get the basic weathering done tomorrow so that I can add them to the hull floor by the middle of the week.

and

and finally

Thanks for your patience!

I must say, you build sure looks sweet - a stupid question from a noob when it comes til brit armor - I had the impression, that brit tanks had a silverish interior color, but was that only tanks, or would some armored cars allso have it ?

Cheers/Jan
