Andreas, didn't you already build a winning T90 in the past? Or am I confused?

Dmitry,
thanks for your kind words, yes I built one when miniarm eneterd the market with their T-90 Mod 1992. I still have their Mod. 2004 conversion at home too. Might be interesting to compare it to ZVEZDAīs kit. But anyway, you can never have enough cool T-tanks, right?

Count me in Andres!
I too have the Miniarm conversions in my stash (along with every other T-72 conversion) so it will be nice to see how this compares. I'm still debating as well whether to just throw one together out of the box or go mad on the super detailing!?

Heya!
Well I will build the first OOB for sure. Buta s it will be WAYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than the conversions before, itīs not a problem to get at least a second one to super detail^^

I;m in, for sure.
Very long awaited one, and it seems that it will be a reasonably good kit
On DragonUSA site, its mentioned that the kit will have polyestirene tracks, the preproduction pics show what seems to be a link and length track to my eyes... Lets see how the actual production ones finally are

Why don't we wait for the Meng T-90 aswell? I think that would also be an interesting comparison.

Considering Meng has only shown CAD images we might have to wait some time until anything of substance shows up.

Karl, in my opinion could happen also that Meng eventually won't make a t-90 kit, considering that Zvezda have already made the subject

Well, but it was no secret that ZVEZDA is working on it....and if they do the cast turret too it would be fine, bec. ZVEZDA, so far, didnt announce that. I hope MENG will not stop the work on it. I think, if they really thought about cancelling the project, then why publish the drawings a few weeks ago? Doesnīt sound logical to me.
Well, lets wait and see, I hope they do it though, competition is always good.
My two cents^^

Well it could be also possible that Meng had already known about Zvezda project and they wanted to anticipate them but eventually they didn't be able to do it. Now they 're showing their cad drawings, but unfortunately that it doesn't mean that they'll make the kit. It could be a risk, in my humble opinion, investing lots of money in a brand new moulds when some other else have already produced the same subjects at the same time. You'll risk to share the market with them, it would be extremely hard to win totally the "market" competition. Furthermore, Meng have few subjects in their catalogue, I think the can't afford a partial market failure at the moment
Anyway I'm not a marketing expert, so that's just my opinion and i really hope I'm wrong
Me too I like competition
Cheers

There's no such thing as a stupid idea when it comes to group builds Andreas. I think this is worth pursuing.
