Hi guys, am I too late to join this one? I started a few kits ages ago that have been gathering dust in the cupboard since. I have the kits I want to build OOB but there's also a Pz4 I built as a kid that I want to turn into a wreck.

Well, i still haven't found my steering wheel for this yet.
Here's a pic with the dashboard wash and dry fit of floor and upper and lower hull.
Bad lighting, bad etch work and shaky hands for painting!!

Well I'm into the final stages of painting and weathering on the Dragon OOB campaign, so I figured it was time to post my entry here.
This was originally for the Tiger campaign. Looking at it now I can't remember why I didn't finish it! I'm glad this campaign came along to give me that little "push" to dust this one off!

I have made some progress on My sheridan also.
Lower hull done

I am now working on the MG mount and armor plate,The instructions are not very clear and I've been spending a lot of time on Prime Portal trying to figure where things go and how they fit. That's all for now.Jeff T.

Well, first let me make sure I'm on the correct Campaign thread. Don't want to emulate anyone with a "senior moment", that just might make them jealous I'm stealing their spotlight.
Okay, okay ... yes, it's the right place.
Just about to wrap this up and enough of the nostalgia trip down memory lane. I do see why I stopped on this as it's boring, things don't fit, flash here, flash there ... here a flash, there a flash. FLASH EVERYWHERE I'm about DONE with it! I believe I will throw some mud or dirt dust on it, finishing some touch ups here and there and then stick a fork in it!! Not even gonna mark the thing as I'm done with the plastic quality not wanting to cement and it's just about been handled for the last few times.
Oh, and the pictures:
The only reason I took so many pictures is to make it appear I really care. Junk, junk, junk! I might even run it through the trash compactor after the final image has been taken!
Well, now onto something else to wash the bad taste out of my mouth and maybe go through the stash throwing out all the future junk kits!
CHEERS!

Like a kid playing with matches, I have some pigments to throw on it (or at it) and maybe mix it up with some white glue to simulate mudd. If I get brave ... but what the heck, it's only junk! Great experimental opportunity!
Let's see: Natural Sienna, Brown Ochre or Natural Umber?

Nothing reveals more than a camera on what areas need attention and what the naked eye cannot see.

Hi guys,
I have a half finished Trumpeter Tiger II that needs some TLC. I got bogged down on the hull interior. First thing i need to to is build a new driver seat and make some new conduits and grease lines. those vinyl ones have so much flash on them its impossible to clean them up without destroying them.

What? No comments, constructive hints or help? What's needed ~ what's not needed on the M-46?
I tried to get away from the "factory fresh look" and besides the need of removing the 'extra' globs of pigment what do we see here to go the next step?
I usually don't take this step but I have some of those materials, plus 'others' here so why not try my hand at it. I usually just apply a black or gray wash and seal it but want something different.
It's a far cry from some of the magnificent work here but I need to learn and perform while I'm here or I'm just wasting my time. Anyone can build (well, almost anyone ) so what fun is it to just paint it and be below standard looking?
