I am working on a t-80 and am having a tough time finding replacement tracks for it...
Can i use T-90 tracks on it? they look similar to me.
OR if anyone has a set of t-80 tracks they want to get rid of (miniarm) i'll pay for them

Hello Aaron,
I had a talk with Igor from miniarm over this. You´re right, they look same but aren´t. The difference is, that the T-80 has an extra rubber pad on the INSIDE of the track.....ok, maybe no one will notice this.
heres a pic that shows what I mean:
Masterclub make very nice and correct T-80 tracks, and roadwheels If you need the correct ones.

can you order directly from masterclub?
Their brand store, but only in Russian.
http://masterclub-shop.7910.org/index.php
But you can write a letter to E-mail, I think no problems. I ordered from them several times, everything is fine.
Road wheels T-80 - http://masterclub-shop.7910.org/product_info.php/cPath/24_28/products_id/112 - price ~ 18$
Tracks T-80 - http://masterclub-shop.7910.org/product_info.php/cPath/24_28/products_id/103 - price ~ 18$
I have road wheels, very nice.

You can also use the SP Designs resin tracks (length type with individual center guides to glue to each link). They are not the same quality as Masterclub (detail wise) but are easier to build.
I have experience with both sets.
Here is a picture of the SP tracks

Sergej, of SP Designs, is also now going to be pressure casting his T-80 tracks. So they should be better.
There is also another set of metal T-80 type tracks out there, I have only briefly seen them on eBay (and from China), but keep an eye out.
BTW those sector 35 tracks are really nice, but REALLY hard to work with. You almost have to be a jeweler to get them assembled without screwing something up.

I have 3 sets of the T-80 sector 35, 2 for my 27S Pion and one extra, but they went toghter well I think easyer than Frui, but that is my opion. I am wondering about the new tracks coming out of China, I may order a set of T-90 to try.
