Friends of Market Garden,
Those who join the Campaign, follow the rules and submit the pics of their work, will receive a medal that will be posted on their profile page.
With this post I invite you to develop a medal of your own choice for this Campaign. You can send your medal to me by email, using the address below :
[email protected]
All the entries will be posted in this forum and we will pick the most favorite medal as our Official Campaign Medal. For this purpose we will open a poll after the closing date. Medals can be forwarded to me from now on.
Closing date for submitting medals : October 31, 2003
Submissions that I receive after the closing date wil not be able to join in the voting proces. In the first week of November the voting booths will be opened on the Dutch Site. We'll let you know where to go to.
So, if you can find the time and have some inspiration left.... please make a medal and email it to [email protected]
I favor the size of 45 x 18 pixels (length x height), but if you have other ideas, please feel free to do so and to send it to me !!
All the entries will be posted in this topic.

I'm no hero when it comes to fidgeting with graphics. I'm thinking of this, but smaller. About the size of a A guard badge...

It's there general !
NB : The winning Medal will be "polished" before we hand it out. This means that the size can differ a bit from the size you see now.

I have opted not to join in with this campaign , but do enjoy history and playing with graphics.
With that said, there happens to be two awards granted to those who participated in the campaign. One is a medal, the other is a patch.
The Medal:
The Patch:
With both shrunk and combined:
