Hello
I have been working on this since the summer but with school and work I have not had the time to finish her off... but alas I finally have sometime to work on it and have ran into some issues and would appreciate any help.
To begin, I have been using this t-35/76 tank as a reference to building the T-34/76 No.112 Factory... I don't know how accurate that tank in Moscow Victory Park is, but it seems to have most of the details that the T-34/76 No.112 Factory late production has... unless it has had modifications? In any case, my first problem I ran into is I do not know where the wire connects at the back of the headlamp... does anyone have any photos or references as to where I should place it? Here's a picture...
Secondly, the rear fuel tanks made no sense to me as how they were bracketed at the rear of the tank based on the kit parts... does any have any reference photos of the rear fuel tanks? Additionally, since the rear fuel tanks supplied in the box did not match photos I have seen, I decided to buy the Aber set... What I discovered after many frustrating sessions of soldering one of the tanks was a disparity in size between the one supplied in the box and Aber's... Which is one is correct? Here's some pictures:
Here are some other photos of my build so far... any criticisms are welcome ... but I do not think I will change much from here on... especially my welds! I love how my welds turned out One criticism about this kit is the overwhelmingly missed weld detail
Oh... in case you are wondering, the PE mesh for the engine cover is from a separate detail up PE set by Voyager for AFV Club.
Thanks for looking

Hi.
Great job so far
Here a headlight of t-34 mod 1941. Nevermind if is not your version, I think headlights are the same on 1941 and 1942 exemplars
I think metal duct below is not an original part. You should just add two tiny metal cables in my humble opinion
I've been looking for a closer pic of the extra fuel tank. I haven't found it yet, when Ifound I'll post
Congrats

Hey,
Thanks for a response; I have already seen those photos actually, but they do not positively show where the wires actually feed into the back of the head lamp... I guess I'm an accuracy nut; I might just have to approximate where they go I guess.

Hello,
Thanks again for your help I will look into the links you have provided me... but I cannot fathom why there is a such a size difference between Aber and the in-box rear fuel tanks

Hey,
Alex Z. those technical diagrams and photos are exactly what I was looking for... hmm but if any knows the exact dimensions the rear bins should be (i.e. disparity between the Aber and DML) that would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot!
While I'm on a roll, does anyone know if these two lines on the track horns should be there? Here's a picture:
If not, then I'll have to sand ALL of them down
Again, thanks for all the help; any comments, criticisms or questions are welcome.

Thanks a lot Alex
All the walkarounds which I have ( a lot) don't have nor the headlamp nor the extra fuel tanks
Alexander, as far as I know, track link teeth are smooth

You are welcome, guys!
Actually there is a little correction about the fuel tanks. There was two brackets on the bottom, located symmetrically. Here are more pictures:
The dimensions (in centimeters) you were asking about. Keep in mind that they were taken from a damaged fuel tank so they could be a little bit off.
The tank itself:
Sorry for the quality, but here are two photos of T-34 blueprints with brackets clearly visible.

Hello
Mauro that's what I also suspected that those two lines on each of the track teeth shouldn't be there... sanding it is. Thanks again.
And...
Thank you so much Alex Z. for providing further information on those rear fuel tanks. Those measurements will go a long way in helping me determine which tanks are accurate, I am in the process of measuring both the DML and Aber tanks. I'll post photos soon of my measurements... but I am certain that DML's tanks are inaccurate and too large, while the Aber is correct.
Thanks again.

The welds are really brilliant. I just wondered which technique you used?

Hey,
I used 0.8mm styrene rod (smallest diameter I had), continuously sanded them down to a smaller diameter, cut to size and then glued them to the areas that needed the welds. I then waited for about a minute, took a sharp no. 11 blade and started texturing it into welds. It's quite easy actually, but it takes practice... you want to make sure you are texturing the weld as semi crescents in a single direction, trying to overlap them to give them an authentic weld look. Of course, you also need a magnifier so as not to strain your eyes.

Hello,
I have taken rough measurements of both the Aber and DML rear fuel tanks. Based on your measurements Alex Z. the Aber comes much closer to the real measurements, with the DML rear fuel tanks being larger in most dimensions. Here are two photos for comparison:

Thanks for sharing! Those measurements will come handy.
Dragon is not even close... One thing is good - those tanks are pretty simple and shouldn't be a problem to scratchbuild if necessary.
