MiniArt is at it again, bringing us something outside the norm. A host of new characters to add to your dioramas, vignette, or to be the star of their own diorama.

I'll bet the elderly man waving would look really good in a liberation vignette. Put a US/UK flag in his hand and you're set. Might have to get me one of these.

This set comes pretty much right in time for the project I'm working on. The Priest, the Smoking man and the guy with the basket of bread would work really nicely along the Kettenkrad guys. I'm going to get me one of these

Interesting little kit. I think Kevin meant to say: Vive les francais.

I especially like that gendarme. He reminds me of someone...

Benjamin

Thank you, I did Google it before writing the article, but guess Google does not always tell the truth. I fixed in the article and What's New, but it did not fix the subject here, guess I will need a higher power to remedy that.

Thanks
Kevin

Crabtreeee!!!
The guy with trousers is definitely Monsieur Alfonse. How great it would be if the guy with the basket looked like Rene Artois... and the two maids...

The gendarme in the set is not a gendarme but a policeman. There is a slight difference in the uniform.
In real life, the policemen are in towns while the gendarmes are in charge of the countryside and small cities.

Thanks Olivier: Never new that. I Thought police was just a modern term for the same profession. Glad to have learned.

the grandpa is terrific.
I hope Miniart will capture the comic physionomy in the masters, as it is figured in the drawing.

Great looking set!! With a bit of tweaking, one could see the gendarme become Claude Rains in "Casablanca."

Awesome

Miniart is really leading the way on diorama pieces. These figures will really add some spice to a diorama.
I'd like to see them do a set of civilian workers done like the Preiser sets

I agree,a nice set and very useful. Miniart has scored yet another goal. But when?
Myself,I think the old gent in the suit looks like the guy in the famous newsreel crying as the Germans marched in to Paris.

A nice set again. More civilians would be great but could we please get a few from "Epoche IV" (1965-1990) for those of us who don't do WWII.

"Peacenics at the gate" is a diorama I still want to do. I have the gate, the gun - I need filthy green stuff!
