I just bought this kit after reading a brief article in The New Yorker about the Soviet soldiers who quashed the 1968 Prague Spring. The kit has decale and markings for that era, but what shade of green is correct for a BRDM in that era? And which brands of paint recommended?

Hi,
on this website you can find a few colorphotos from 1968
http://www.magnumphotos.com/C.aspx?VP3=ViewBox&VBID=2K1HZOOEY9OL3&IT=ThumbImage02_VForm&CT=Search&PN=6&SH=1&SF=1&PPM=0&CTID=KU1B2PK_D&TM=&RW=2031&RH=990
Unfortunaltly not a single photo which shows an brdm. for it seems that on every photo the green has a differnt shade. From brown over dark green to something more greyish. I use for my soviet tanks tamiya xf-58 olive green or xf-67 nato green. I can't say it's the correct color, but for me these two to come close to the color on the pictures.
