I need some help with the suspension of a KV-2

I'm modeling a mine damaged vehical which has lost a track, leaving one of the suspension arms completly unsuported, and hanging free.

the question is how far will it hang down ? Will it be at 90 degrees to the hull as shown in my (rubbish) illustration

Or will it be less than that (as I suspect) any ideas or pictures to help?

Hello there
They would be hanging, but not as much as on your picture

It's a torsion bar, so any deflection from it's steady state point is is going to cause resistance. Only way it would go down 90 degrees is if the torsion bar physically broke, which can happen.
