Hello everyone,
Well I have a campaign idea but not sure if its going to fly so thought I would share. This comes from my day to day job (fork lift driver) and from the fact i'm about to join the TA Logistics, a campaign that covers any kind of vehicle that would be used to deliver and transport. There are plently of kits out there (I should know i've started a collection via Ebay lol) and there is plenty of scope for any era and aftermarket touches. let me know what you all think.

Sal - I don't mind when the start of the campaign is, I was going to see what everyone else is happy with for a start date.
Dan - Personally I don't see a problem with doing your Humvees, logistics in my eyes would cover everything from motobike courier's to 60ton HGV tankers, and not just limited to the ground, the way I see it that anything that is mainly being used to 'deliver' goods of some sort would be classed as 'logistics', be it a few jerry cans of fuel, a attack sqaud of soldiers or enough food to 'fede an army' lol

if your view is that then alex why dont you post links to this page on h.f,model geek, aeroscale, model ship rights and auto mdoels forums so that they can join as not all of them check armorama so they may be interested also it will show that you allow them to join rather then just armour models

Don't forget that Guido on Model Shipwrights suggested the same as "You Haul" across the whole Kitmaker Network in Mid-December. Count those 6 (including me) in with this. See that thread here .
As they say, "Great minds think alike."

Gary is right, most if not all of this would fit well in the Support/Recovery campaign. However that campaign ends June 30th, and there's no reason this campaign can't follow afterwards. I'd be game for that if I can.

Hello guys,
Well i'm glad this is seeming to be going well, I will take you advice and post this link to the other sites mentioned tomorrow, just popped online after yet another long shift so will have more time tomorrow.
Gary - I saw that campaign after I posted this and wondered myself if it was the same as what I was trying to put across, after reading the whole thread I feel that atleast half of the builds are centred around 'recovery' as i'm looking at pure 'Logistics'.
There is many good kits coming out, with the big one's being one's like the M1000. I've hunted ebay completely for those 'different' kits and now even looking at different scales as I normally stick with 1/35, really wanted a M1078 kit but they are rare to find at a good price, same with the 6x6 and 8x8 MAN trucks but found lots of them at 1/72 scale. Plus my postman brought me a Unimog this morning so I know my stash is more than ready! lol and the wheeled loader from MIG has got me thinking...... man I could do this all night!

Hi, there!
I do like the idea, if ships are allowed. The "Support/Recovery" campaign Gary pointed to does not.
However the You Haul campaign didn't take off as most guys had signed in to the "Support/Recovery" before I posted my idea.
Right now my bill is quite full, but given a start date by the end of this year, I'll consider joining in.
Cheers,
Guido

Strolling over from the shiney side of the site, I'd like to ask if "civilian trucks" would be up for the build...or does it have to be of an armor type?
