After quite a long break from any serious modelling I have resurrected the HobbyBoss kit of the VK1602 that I started some time ago.
I have used various Dragon and Italeri items for stowage, scratchbuilt an exhaust and "Kursk" stowage box, used Monro Perdu side skirts and brackets and Dragon tracks, added an RB Models turned barrel and 2m Ariel and used an Accurate Armour Star Ariel as well. The front mudguards are shown stowed as well as deployed and I have opened both the Driver's visors. I've also added three Jerrycans in racks as well as a couple of ammo boxes for storage on the turret.
I'll keep you posted as this one gets painted.

Glad you like it, John.
I am planning on doing it in the "Brush Stroke" Panther scheme where the crew have used a Broom to paint on strokes of the Brown and Green camouflage paint.
If I can pull it off it should be quite eye-catching (fingers crossed).

Here are the results of my hard work with a paintbrush...

The finish is completely brush painted in various acrylics to represent a brush painted scheme.

I am taking this one to the Cosford Show on Sunday so come and have a closer look, if you like?

Cheers,

Rick.

It's different but it looks nice, you could have used different brushes to have different strokes, the crew could have used different brushes to work on the camo.

But it looks good like that too..
