Hi

It may be a long shot, but maybe someone has a few images of how the cab is attached to the lower hull. I have searched the web and a few other sources but no luck so far. I am currently scratchbuilding the vehicle but a few areas remain a little grey.

Andy

Hi Mauro

Thanks ever so much, some great pics there. They are useful for external details, but i was wanting more the guts of the vehicle. The winch assembly, engine compartment, cab interior pics, and how the cab is attached to the hull. I am doin quite a stripped vehicle with engine [Hood/bonnet] covers off and the seats removed revealing the partly stripped engine trans etc.

Andy

Some engineer variants have been based on the AT-T chassis. Maybe these walkarounds are worth a look, for the cab at least (keeping in mind there may be one or two extra levers ) ? :

it seems as if there are LOTS of references about the АТ-Л, few about the AT-T

Thanks guys

I appreciate your input with ref etc, found it really difficult to find much in the way of interior engine compartment pics etc. Hopefully a BAT-M is at the war and peace show in july here in the UK, maybe a chance to get those all importnat photos. i will post some progress pics soon.

Andy

I have been lucky enough to see one of these in real life! In Lithuania, near a train station there was one painted in the exact colourscheme as the rusted up one above. At first I thought it was some hillbilly conversion of a civilian truck and a T-34 tank lol. It actually looks really impressive. Pretty interesting subject for a scratchbuild.

good luck!

Hi guys

Here are a few images of my progress so far, a full article will hopefully appear in a future issue of AFV Modeller.
Thanks for your help with images and links to walkrounds.

Hello Andy

Why do not you build on this model? The beginning you made is very good. Build at the moment the BAT-1, Augangsmodell is the kit of the company Trumpeter AT-T. Have a total building report on the website of panzer35, many times help you there my set pictures for your construction. Wish you many farms.

Best regards LKWMAN

Here are two pictures of the model

Koch, what is the equipment in the rear cargo compartment? Looks to be an electric generator??? If so, is it driven off the vehicle engine or does it have its own engine.

Andy, you're a better man than me for doing this scratch conversion. I have often thought hey; take the right tank chassis, cut a cab in half, scratch build a wide sloped hood. Fortunately Trumpy is doing it for us but hey, I am always gonna wish I had done it your way!

Kudos on a job well started!

No, this component has nothing to do with an electrical generator. This is the winch for the operation of the dozer blade. In addition, this device is used to adjust the blade to the side. The vehicle is powered by the armored engine W-12. But will not show any more photos on this topic in this post, just wanted to help the opener of this contribution. Become a forum here.
