I'm building a few World of Tanks inspired tanks as I've said before. I got myself a nice T-28 kit out of the Czech Republic which arrived safe and sound today. What I want to do is represent the T-28 mounted with the F-30 85mm gun...


Like so. Im sure I'll have to make some bits myself, but what I'm not sure what to do about is the gun. I'm not sure, but would a 85mm gun meant for the SU-85 work? I'm thinking RB model.

You can easily scratch build the barrel from some tubing stock. I'm not sure of the outer diameter, but I would recomend a styrene barrel with a brass sleeve.

Ola Comrade ... From a little bit of hunting i did the 85 mm (3.34 in) D-5T gun ,, its different from the F-30 85mm ,, the gun you will want is from the KV-3 ,,that tank had the F-30 gun .
Hopefully you can find that gun ,,RB might do it or one close enough
