Jose to answer your question, yes you can use the mig kit straight as it to make a soviet version. You don't need to worry about the gernade launcher since the ones with the bar protection had them removed. All you would need is basic soviet markings for it.
The last picture you posted is a true m series in afghanistan. You can tell not only by the layer you have circled, but also the barrel has a thermal sleeve on it.

Yes the kit can be used. Only three models were ever built, 62, 67, and 72, all the various models were built on these hulls.

Now a question about the gun.
I would like, put thermal sleeve. As I knew, the barrel of ModelPoint is impossible to find, so I thought in to make the protection myself..... and here are my doubts.
Would it be possible to mimic the protection by adding the strips corresponding to the canyon or would remain too thin?
Even I remember that MIG jimenez do it in a T-62 BDD model (Tamiya).
What is the approximate thickness of the sleeve?
Thanks to everybody.

Jose I'm not sure about the thickness of the material, but you do want to keep it very thin. Mig did not even use anything, just some photoetch to make the reatianing straps for the sleeve.
You could use some household tin foil to make the sleeve or just do like mig did, you can't really tell at that scale.

I used 0,2mm styrene sheet for the sleeve, and leftover photoetch for the retaining straps. I can post photos of my results if interested.

The gun of the T-62 is a bit thicker near the muzzle whithout the sleeve. With the sleeve this difference vanishes. I would say the sleeve is as thick as the this step is.
The make the sleeve yourself is maybe not the most accurate but the only solution. instead of this you could only give up the sleeve (not all t-62 had these) or wait until an correct barrel appears on the market (not realy an alternativ).
Looking forward to your t-62

As promised, the shroud is glued-melted into the barrel. The irregularities are corrected with a lot of putty. The p.e. comes from the CMK Kladivo conversion, but leftover from RB-model t-72 barrel sets could be used as well.
This method works only on platic barrels. Mauros idea might do the job on metal barrels.

Hello again.
I have other questions that make you, and again, has to do with the gun.
Fortunately, I got the gun with thermal sleeve of Modelpoint. It has the clamps that hold the cover and a slot to place the top "lip".
Good, but it hasn´t the typical clamps that look like a belt with buckle.
Is this correct? Are there different types of clamps?
Well, thank´s again and I hope to post pictures soon.
