I tried to post this campaign idea under the title Armor of the American Civil War but it was suggested to me that too many people might not look at the thread because the title implied a very limited idea. This one might too, but I'll give it a try!
For years I've had this idea of doing an Armor of the American Civil War collection. You know:
M3 Lee
M3 Grant
M3 Stuart
M4 Sherman
M36 Jackson
M551 Sheridan
When I first started collecting, Tamiya was pretty much the only game in town for almost all the models, but in the past several years Academy, AFV Club, Dragon, and Tasca have come to the rescue.
Anyway, given that we're in the midst of the 150th anniversary of the War Between the States, I thought this might be a good idea for a campaign. One of the above named vehicles (or others carrying an official name linked to the Civil War that I may not know about). Any operator nationality, any configuration (so long as the vehicle is still known by that name), any scale, etc. Looking at starting beginning of next year, going for a full year?
Running it up the flag pole to see who'll salute!
Michael

Hi Michael,
Depending on the start / finish time you are looking at I would be in, but in all honesty I am pretty much out until at the earlist mid march, but even if i can't jump on board will pop in & see how it goes.
Good luck with it!!
Cheers Mike
