Hi Guys,
Here are some final photos of my lastest diorama. I hope that it is finished.
Comments welcome.
The dio was just a wee bit big to get in the camera frame.

Back half

EDIT:
Hi Guys,
I have added some pine trees that i had lying around, I think it looks a lot better.

Andy,

looking good. Two minor ideas :

On photography : Try to get a bit closer with the camera. At this distance it's quite hard to see the details. Maybe you want to use a different colour of cloth too, since the large white part white distracts the viewer from the main object.

On modeling : The dio is looks very good as far as I can see, but I would give something extra to the base of the diorama. Not just a beautiful scene on a simple board...give it the base it deserves.

Eagle made two very good points. I will even go a step further, and suggest an even wider base with some background/height behind it. It all looks so well, and could be improved immensly if there was a background of trees or a wall or ruins .. in fact anything to make the road look more like a road. The base as is, could be widened and background added and all together could be placed on a nice base. You would be amazed how much it would improve your dio, give it that professional touch.
A good site with tips for this is Docs dios .
Here is the direct link on the same site for making trees .
I checked out the rest of the pics on the pershing on your gallery and it looks really neat. Where did the guy sitting on the turret front wearing the "west ham" scarf go??? #:-)
Im amazed at quickly your modelling skills are developing. This is a great dio and has a nice composition. The vehicles and figures all look good. Nice one!! Oh... and as fireman said ... more pictures!!8)

He went back to the half track .He didn't quite fit in with the M26 (I was wondering when someone would pick up on the scarf!!!!!!)

that looks good Andy. Well done. My only comment would be a few tuffs of grass under the trees to break the ground up a bit. Look at yout pine forests over there and you will see a wide variety of plants that grow under the pines.

other then that keep up the good work.

Looked real good, Anzac II. don't really have anything to criticize, since I am no expert of US armor, nor Dios. So to my untrained eyes, this dio is very interesting, the story layout is good, and consistent. and the construction is clean, painting is good, weathering is approriate, really nothing to say, but good work, keep it up.

Manie Warm Wishes
