Got a question about the ferrets that were deployed to Cyprus for the peacekeeping mission back in the 60's, which radio sets were installed in them? I have accurate armour's ferret mk. 1 and the kit comes with 3 different style radios, NO.19, larkspur, and a clansman. I know nothing about british style radios and want to make sure which one to use since I plan to use the left overs for a land rover I have.
Cheers

The No.19 radios were replaced in the late 1950s with the C42 set. In the late 1960s the C42s were replaced with U.S. radios, trays, and antennas.
You are in luck as the C42 is the Larkspur radio.
Good luck with your Ferret!

Thanks Jason, the radios were the only thing I was iffy about. I do however have a verlinden's nato sets I could use or could I just use the C42 radio and still be good for the 67/68 time frame that is over ormour acorn's website.

Actually the Canadian Ferret use in Cyprus ended in 1967 when it was replaced by the Lynx.
May to October 1967 was the last tour of the Lynx in Cyprus and they were used by the Royal Canadian Dragoons.
Photos from 1967 show the Ferrets in dark green and the C42 radio still fitted.
