Here are the latest pictures of the PP, its almost done only a litle matt varnis on the camo net and some cleaning of the base
I hope that his new owner is happy with it.

NICE. I like that A LOT. The base is really different - I like it. Give me some great ideas.
Good catch on the mirrors.
One thing you could add, if you wanted, are the chains/teathers that hold the smoke discharge caps on the so they don't get lost.

Hi Scott, I know about the chains that are missing, but attaching those chains drives me crazy #:-) if it was a model for my self I should have done that and many other things thats needed on this car
But thanks for comments

Now that looks good! I really like the first pic in that setting. Nice job on the weathering.
One thing, in the last picture you can see the inside of the cab, it looks too clean compared with the rest of the vehicle. Especially on the fire wall where the crew's feet would do alot of scuffing.
I must admit, when I first saw the color of the vehicle, I asked myself "where's Barbie?"

Ronald_Kok,
This is another excellent item of work you have produced - I have followed the posts on this and I have to say that the finished product is very fine indeed. Can I ask you how you have painted/weathered the tyres, especially the spare on the front - is this just ground in pastel/pigment?

Looks great. Besides the mirror lenses I'd dullcoat the net on the hood.

Hi Ronald,
Een mooi potteke :-)
I really like this one, as I said before.
Original base, nice background and you have catched the right pink for this one.
Very beautiful.
Greetings,

Looks really good. I love the color of the tires. The weak spot, and we have Tamiya's scupltors to thank, is the camo net on the hood. It looks toy like and just doesn't cut it. I don't think any painting can salvage that part. What you might want to do to kick up the realism is get some cheesecloth ot a 2X2 piece of mediacal gauze and make your own net. Staini it with thinned acrylic paint and use some foil or paper straps. Attach it in the same palce with white glue. This will have the depth and feel an netting.

Nice job. It looks like "Commando Barbie's" ride. I wonder if she wears underwear?

That's really nice Ronald! Love the paint but, I would agree that the 'roll' on the hood (bonnet) needs some work or needs to be replaced.
Otherwise, it's a real beauty!
I've had that kit for years and one of these days I'm going to build!
Cuts down on any glare. #:-) :-)

Looking really good Ronald. As others have mentioned the tyres and shade of pink are perfect. Maybe you could explain briefly how you got this????
I have to agree with Ajlafeche, the camo net would be a lot better if scratched. The tamiya ones are pathetic. I am not really that fussy but this is one thig I wouldnt put up with. I threw away a few of these recently as they were not worth salvaging by covering. The risk is after painting it might not look any better!
Is there a story behind the base? Very unusal!

Hi Plasticbatlle and others,
I have already replaced the camo net for a other one
I painted this Landrover in a mix off Tamiya paints, Red and White and a litlle Buff when that was done I was not happy with the result, the color was to pink???? doint know but it was a verry strange color :-)
I repainted the vehicle with only Red and White (a light overspray with the airbrush) thats was much better.
Then the chipping with Vallejo green and some white (I doint remember the valejo color number)
Then a wash with Burnt umber verry dilluted.
Drybrush with a Oilpaint in a flesh color.
Tyres, Black, a light overspray with Buff and a drybrush with Black.
Thats all #:-)
Forgot the base, thats is a left over from a Bonsai three.
