Hi
Im currently building a zvezda t-72b no 3550. Im looking for a detail set mainly for the ERA bricks. Will the miniarm set fit?, or can i scratch build these bricks? if so how could i go about it?. Im trying to go for a chechnya or georgia campaign look. Any help would be great
Cheers
Christian

Hi Christian
Well, I think the Miniarm set isn't likely to fit well with the Zvezda kit. that set has been conceived for the Tamiya kit and as far as I know the Japanese kit (which is far more correct) is quite difeerent from the Russian model.
In my humble opinion you should get the Voyager set number Pea 220 which represents the era bricks
As you can see, there are many photoetched parts to bent. That could be quite annoying, but bricks are separate, so you can adapt them to the Russian model in an easier way
I hope this is useful for you

Yes, moreover, also the real ERA bricks are made of fold metal foils..
... so PE-parts would be realistic indeed
You can find other pics here

If you need, I can find many others T-72B walkarounds, so let me know about

let's wait for meng's T-90, it's a multi-kit, maybe could remake a T-72B obr1989?
