Good day all
Yesterday I was skimming Russian Blogs looking for pictures for a build I am doing and I came across a model web site in Russia selling kits from various companys that we all know and they had a Roe Models 1/35 c-300b 9a82 roe models kit, I made the mistake of not book marking it and now I can not find it and also there is very little on Roe Models. I will try today to back step and see if I can find it, but no luck so far
Thanks
all
Jim

ROE Models has already moved production model indefinitely.
The first model - TOR-M1, promised to release in the summer, but there is still no news.
C-300V promised Pawel tank-mania.

I hope that this kit will be accurate in dimensions and proportions in comparison to Tank Mania kits. Iīve heard from lot of "hard core" modelers and former East German military officers building East German stuff, that kits from Tank Mania, especially the 2S3 Akacija and Sa-8 Gecko are underscaled, more 1/40 than 1/35, so lot of them are selling their kits on Ebay lately and arenīt happy about this fact.
I hope this wonīt happen to Roe Models, because if the kit is gonna be released it probably will cost some 200-300 .

I built the SA-8 and it built into a nice kit, though I didn't measure the parts, I guess I am not hard core and count the nuts and bolts the Akatsiya I have but havent built yet. Is any kit going to be 100% accurate? I have yet to see one. so you work with what you have. The kit I am building right now, I will have to make parts for it, but whan done it will look nice in my model case.

Hi Jim,
I am not hard core, too. 95% of my models are built right out of the box. I only heard these things about the Akacija and SA-8 Gecko kits. Maybe itīs true. Who really knows? I think nobody is crazy enough to run around and measure everything with calipers, only if heīs bored of life.

I ment no disrespect with the last email, I ran into this problem when I was into modelrail roading, I watched a guy at the hobby store counting the rivits on a boiler of a steam engine, it was not right so he did not buy it, on another web site a boy mabey 12 years old had posted his first tank build and he had hand painted it, he was proud of his build, then a couple of guys replyed and tore up his build, the boy never posted again, and I suspect he never built another model. Thats why I build for fun and the nut and bolt counters I ignore
