There's a close up picture of the side of the turret of a former NVA T-72 with a Bundeswehr cross in place of the NVA insignia in one of Zaloga's books. It was obviously a tank that was acquired after reunification. Are there more pics out there of former NVA T-72's in Bundeswehr markings? How long did these tanks serve in the Bundeswehr before they were sold/scrapped/assigned to the shooting range? Were they ever considered for modernization like the few BMP's that were "brought up to safety standards"? I love building Bundeswehr and NVA vehicles and building a mixture of both would be great but I simply can't find any more info outside of the aforementioned picture. I've checked through google.de but I couldn't find any relevant info.I'm hoping our German friends can help me out.Vielen dank!
