Why would the 101st have a map of Caen? They must be really lost. A map of St. Lo would have been more appropriate. Of course, in that scale who could read the map anyway?

It could also be a map of Eindhoven or Son.

I know what the posts hagve said but looking at the map - its not Caen. They really are lost - wrong map...must be officers!
What an excellent set, in fact another stunning set of figures out from Dmitri. Oh my aching wallet..
Cheers

It could also be a map of Eindhoven or Son.
given the uniform and helemt camo etc, this would be highly unlikely.......

thanks for the clarification, just out of curiousity what the differences in the unforms from the June 44 D-day drop and the Sept 44 Market Garden drop?

The figures are wearing the M1942 Paratroop Jump Jacket and Trousers. For Market-Garden and Operation Varsity drops the US paratroops wore the M1943 uniform.

I dunno about their kit but these are three of the most impressively sculpted, and beautifully painted, figures I have seen. These display figs make me want order them!
