Nice photos.
I moved this to the Яusso-Soviэt Forum so more modelers interested in Soviet models will see it.

At least it looks like the Russians have the economic foresight to recycle their tanks unlike us in the US - We just power wash 'em and dump 'em into the ocean to make artificial reefs.
I bet you could buy a couple of those T-62's and T'72's cheap!

We've already seen those impressive photos. It would be great to reproduce in a dio that abandoned factory. The only doubt which I have is about the models that would be needful
There are no decent t-72s models yet and we have to wait for the T-64B made by Trumpeter. More of that how large would be such a kind of job ?

Mauro mate ,, i have those pics on my comp and one night bored out of my tree i started to count a pile of T64's in this one photo.
When i got to 110 i quit
No idea how many there are in total but man not only for it size this dio would cost a fortune to build ,the inside of the factory alone would drive most normal modellers utterly nuts and the challenge would be huge ,,but ,,damn

Well Phil. Joking aside, I think it may be more possible for a modeller's group. They could share the efforts....and the costs

Oh group build ..didn't even think of that ,,ya that would be a interesting challenge for sure and it would break up the cost quite a bit but the depends on how many people will be building it ..and a couple of years to build it
Man this thing would be huge and i like that

Well...it could be a large diorama but it wouldn't be necessary at all to depict the entire area. For exemple, I've seen lots of incredibly large ww2 diorama set in Stalingrad...all in all it isn't impossible! I think that 20, 25 people could make it in less than 1 year if they have a good plan...but one of them has to have a large shed

Guys ... you dont have to build the whole thing to make a cool scene. Take a page out of figure painter or vignette builders books, and design a scene from the images on show. Theres an amazing amount of details to give background, height, colour contrast, space filler, ground work, weathering, damage, storyline, etc, etc. etc.
In my opinion this would be the ultimate group build ... using only the images on display here, to create and inspire a scene. Let everybody decide themselves what they want to include and their interpretation of whats on show, and after a set period of time, everybody post their finished models. Its sounds so good I might even come out from hibernation to try it myself.

It'll be an AMAZING PROJECT! I'm sorry I can't take part of it, but if you need references, let me know, I'll be glad to contribute in a small way

Are they all left overs from the Ukrainian army after the USSR disbanded or just a mixture of old Soviet stuff with some belonging to an old Ukrainian Division??

Ukraine declared its independence in 1991. Ukranian divisions became the Ukranian army so they had Russian weapons. Those tanks are likely to be the former Russian vehicles which have become Ukranian before being abandoned

As you can notice , the main flaw is the turret shape which looks incorrect for a Russian version
Anyway Miniarm sells a series of outstanding resin parts which can solve the kit problems....

...but unfortunately they're quite expensive
