Completely in English, Paul. I had a quick look at the contents and it definitely looks to be an excellent tutorial on creating realistic stone objects. As Todd mentioned, the water effects for the fountains is stunning

The tutorial in the book on water works is worth the cover price alone. I have yet to attempt these but as soon as the holiday season clears, you can bet I will!

The stone work explained can certainly be scaled up or down to suite. These techniques can be applied to larger building and/or structures easily! The fact that template work is on cardboard, anything you can draft up and be made...with some stunning results!!!

What is 'XPS'? Insulating foam sheets? Does it matter if it's the pink or blue?

XPS is Extruded Polystyrene....blue or pink, those are just trade colors. This is the standard ridgid foam board you find at any construction site and can be bought frmo your local hardware store.

EPS is Epanded Polystyrene...trade name everyone goes by is Styrofoam.

Both are great for building. The XPS is like I explained in the review and Laszlo explains in the book as a great productas it is easy to get, cuts easy, glues with PVA (white glue, waterbased), sands and makes a solid base for building structures!

That's a great review... I never thought someone might do a "build review" on the book, but you have gone a step further to show what can be achieved by using tips from the diorama book.

Once again, you have done an excellent review. I think Laszlo should be very happy with what you have done to promote his book.

I noticed the Diorama Accessories book is available but is there a release date for the English version yet ? I have the first two books and will be ordering this one in due course.
(Need to recover from Christmas)These are fantastic books and should be in any serious diorama makers library.

The English version has been available for some time. I bought all three books from a Hungarian seller at the C4 competition in Malmö last October. All 3 were in English.

Very handy little books ... many great ideas.

Are you saying this book " Diorámaépítés - Kiegészítők " is available in english, I tried the link above and only the Stone objects came up on the UK translated site ?
