Well Twig, I see what you meant in the earlier thread about the turret color... This is truly looking incredible. I personally would go with the filter, but in a very restrained manner, the paint-job on this beasty (plus your highly-detailed comments) is turning into one of the most useful guides I have ever seen... Keep going.... Jim

Quoted Text

I will have to use some mapping process to bring all the colours together

Twig, interesting narrative on the blending techniques you are using---very informative. The two close up pics of the turret really bring home what you are doing---an interesting technique! The mantlet looks fantastic.

As far as the quote above, perhaps a very lightly applied overall spray of thinned dust from an airbrush would really tie together this vehicle's paint job/weathering as a final step. It should be light enough to not hide the wonderful job you have done on layering your different colors, --- just enough -- to bring everthing together.

Kee us posted.

Looking great Twig
The filters have really made a great differnce. Did you Air brush them, or do them by hand?
Love the weathering :-)

Looking forward to seeing more
