Hi all,
Here's some photos of a Tasca Sherman III I've been building for the D-Day group build.
First time trying to add cast texture, it's a little underdone.
Base coat and Archer transfers applied. Marked it as 1st Canadian Hussars, C Squadron. Still trying to figure out what I want to do with the stowage.
Started some weathering. First time trying the oil dot modulation technique, I'm fairly happy with it. Dusted the suspension a little. Still need to do some pin washes, light chipping, fix the track, glue down tarp so it hangs naturally, weather the hull and dye some "rope" so it's a more natural colour. After that paint some figures and work on the base.
Been a very fun project so far.
Comments or suggestions appreciated
Cheers
Jeff

Looks really great so far. The weathering is superb. Can I suggest tie down straps and buckles for the tools?

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I've bookmarked some page on how to scratch build those.
