I dragged out the old shelf queen and am going to finish.
Funny that Trumpy puts Russian markings in the box but no markings guide for Russian vehicle.
3 digits, I got it. Marked on the side, got it.
Stars? Guards badges? Where...?
A little google-fu (pretty little, I'll admit) and lots of boxart images, lots of buildups marked as czech and DDR, but no Russian.
Some figure (sci-fi dolls..) guy put the Russian markings AND the czech roundels both on.. nice build, goofy markings.
My image vault has loads of detailed pics for the 'go to town build' I was going to do... yeah right.. but no Russian markings other than maybe the chipped to hell "142" in private hands in the west (?)
I've got the SP designs missiles, they're drying as I type.
PMMS comes up dry, Zaloga's info for missile painting is great.
But I need a couple of Russian markings options.
Thanks
Mike

Here are some images of Russian SAM-6:
1) Most part of those vehicles has not many markings - the numbers mainly; red stars were real rarity ! Usual marking pattern of SAM-6 shown below:
2) Camouflaged vehicle - and only numbers again:
3) Painting for parades:
4) But the exceptions took place too. Here is real vehicle photo - very nice, excellent shot !
5) One more real image - note unusual square marking on board and number's font style:
6) A pair of images of SAM-6 model, which was built by Russian modeller:
7) The image of SAM-6 model, built by other Russian modeller - note the Red Star style:
I seem, this last version of marking is most doubtful - number's font style looks like not Russian, but like East European; the Red Star insignia of such style was used by Russian Army in the Twenties only (sometimes).
But other images here shows real patterns of markings.
Enjoy !

Thank you for taking the time to dig those up for me.
It looks like I'm going to take the 2523 4-digit number provided and do a 252 then.
The 931 (?) winter picture shows the segmented style number and size of the Trumpeter numbers.
Was going back and forth on the guards badge and star, will leave them off.
Thanks
Mike

The winter image shows vehicle's number "934", not "931" (last numeral of this number on photo is too big for numeral "1". This is numeral "4").

Excuse me, please, but I do not see Chinese markings among "Hadmodels" products.
And where and when You saw "Sickle and Hammer" symbols on Chinese insignia ?
The Chinese have the hieroglyph inside their Red Star insignia on tanks, but not "Sickle and Hammer" ! See the examples:
