mmhh... I don't get it.
They already had this one,
There were only 89 build, didn't find any early/late versions, why do another one...beats me.
I build that kit, it had everything, great detailing, interior, metal gun, PE ..
I'm not getting this one for sure.

Maybe they were thinking that AFV Club or Bronco were getting too much attention with their 232 series.

Would it kill Dragon to put out something post-war???? Stop beating a dead horse guys, there are other modeling subjects that deserve more attention than WWII at this point. I think I could probably build 90% of the AFV's the German's fielded during the war and then some. I'm not angry at them for putting out more kits, the more the better, but some variety would be great.

Personally I don't even care anymore what DML release (look who's talking, what am I doing, psoting here then? ) since we now have all these other companies with great releases of other subjects. Personally I'd rather see Bronco or AFV (to name two) release a subject than DML, because I know they'll get it right.
I guess I'm just hoping for DML to continue on their US halftracks range, an M15 series would be cool! But I guess DML's just WWII German and that's the way it is. At least in 1/35.
Cheers!
Stefan

Comparedd to their ccompetitors it's a VERY pedestrian release list. However, that is somewhat tempered by the fact they release a lot during the year...

I don't mind they build German stuff, the only thing is their releasing the same kits again...
Even if they want to keep doing WW2 stuff, there are plenty of subjects , why rebuild the same kit ?
I agree we need a new Bradley, a new M48 / M60.
A Russian T-10 family... a T-44.

It's a shame that with every single news the same crowd starts to cry and whine "why this and not that, why ww2 and no post war, why wheels and no tracks, why german and no US, why green and not yellow..."
Aren't there no mods on Armorama?
Come on guys... There were times (and I repeat myself with this) when we were glad when there were new kits at all...
If you don't like a new kit don't buy it but please stop whining because that simply sux!
Just my $0.02

I agree. Even though they aren't causing many peple to miss sleep with the excitement, the crucial fact is that YES, they are still releasing...
Oh, and DML, if anyone's still unaware of the fact is still only ONE manuacturer of a fair number...

Frankly, it's like clockwork -- especially if it's a DML or Tamiya new kit announcement. Automatically, follows the list of "why not this kit?" posts -- on this and every other AFV modelling forum.
I think it bespeaks to our impatient nature. Personally, I've been working on about 3-4 kits-- all bought years ago. They are just taking up all my modeling time. Many of the items on my so-called "wish list" have been issued recently. But I haven't gotten them due to my lack of productivity.
I wonder if the folk who aren't happy with the new releases are just super-productive -- if they've already built and painted the livery of new kits out in the last 3 years. Gosh! Super men!

Good point. Companies release what they think will sell. If they aren't reading my mind about what I want, then that's my problem, not theirs. We should not turn these threads into whine sessions.
