I have a 1/72 decal sheet for the BTR-70 printed by Fresco in the Ukraine, but is missing an instruction sheet. It has quite a few different options including a WW2 style slogan, the one that most caught my eye has white and red warning stripes that appear to run along the hull above the wheel arches.
I'll try and scan the sheet, but does anyone have an idea what the hazard stripes are for, some kind of fire fighting vehicle?

Sadly, I have not bigger image.
The instruction sheet says about that red stripped vehicle: "BTR-70 from Guard detachment of Missile base. Area of Ivanovo town, 1982" (look at vehicle drawing # 1):
Yes, this is very unusual and unique paint scheme !

Thanks very much Eduard, that's a great help
I can't read the writing for decals 1 and 13 for option 1, does it mean "repeated on other side" or similar? Also, are the options in the standard green paint?

If You mean decal 1 (in nose part of BTR) and 13 (on turret) for option 1, there is written the following:
Decal 1 - "on reverse side". I understand this particular instruction like "put only on right side of BTR nose".
Decal 13 - "on both sides".
Sadly, this instruction sheet says nothing about these BTR painting.

Just a couple of shots of the (almost) finished model -
I had some trouble with the decals disintegrating, especially the wheel trim ones. Does anyone know a good source of these, aside from masking?
