I confess: I have not been around in a long, long time. Busy job, family life, house refurbishing, other priorties in life... you know the story.
The other day I was wondering: our very first campaigns on Armorama now seem like an awfully long time ago. I just checked: that was in 2002, more than 10 years ago already.
Most of the people who were very involved in the diorama and scratchbuilding scene, seem long gone now. Maybe a nice campaign would be the right incentive to bring me back to the modeling table. It seems there has not been a single scratchbuilding/diorama campaign for a long time.
How 'bout starting a diorama campaign that involves a wrecker/tow truck, any period or land, any place. Wreckers often involve a bit of scratchbuilding, resin and etched addons. Then when all is done, we show it on a small diorama that involves a bit of a challenge, like water or snow.
Dio builders and scratchbuilders among us may be happy to throw in a step-by-step followup of work in progress?
Anyone game for that ?
Where are all the guys who did the "windows" diorama campaign in 2002? Our names are not even listed anymore ?
Your read that right, fellows: General Failure is saddling up again and gets ready to roll!

Aaaaaaaah Welcome Back Jan
Awesome to have you back again. Yeah the Windows campaign that brings back some good memories. There were some pretty good entries there. And indeed sad to see that a lot of the older members don't seem to be around anymore. But maybe there is hope... You returned to the hobby and the site after all
Good question on who was at the original first campaign... I was there. You. Ronny Roadkill Noben, Scott Lodder if I'm not mistaken, Tony "Envar" cantrememberhislastname, Frank "plasticbattle" Glackin, Danny "eagle" Wennekes
