Well done sir, it looks pretty good. How did you do the splattered mud effect?

Nice stuff. I'm currently working on the same kit converting it to a Jeep in service with the Dutch Marines in the East Indies.
Very nice paintjob and weathering. Hope mine comes out half as good.

Excellent job on your Jeep.
One thing though, did you forget to paint the rear view mirror?

Very nice! The shovel is very convincing. I've often thought of building a couple of these, to break away from panzers.

Thank you guys for your comments.
I've did it bu airbrushing Vallejo Buff with a hint of Black Brown thinned a lot more than for normal painting, making it more transparent. I wanted to get more dusty look of a vehicle operated in a town on paved roads rather than in mud on open field.
Mirror is painted and in hand looks ok, I don't know why on the pictures it has different shade of green and looks unpainted.

I like it , the subtle weathering gives it a used but not abused type of look. Other than the possibly silvered decals, which could just be the weathering itself, it seems flawless to me. Wish I could achieve such a finish!

I built this a couple of months ago, its a good wee model and you've made a good job of it. When you come to photograph your next model it might be an idea to try to use two opposite light sources which will brighten up the shadow areas. I feel there are lots of details on your model I can't see, which going by what is visible, is a pity.
