Ok, I just put my first coat of paint on the Flak 38. Tamiya german gray with tamiya clear mixed in. Gos i love how easy acrylic paints are to use in an air brush. Hopefully i will continue the build and add somewashes tommorow.
Edited: Added pic with a wash
Please comment on the wash. I would really appreciate the feedback.
There are 2 more angles of the weapon in my gallery, under In Progress
Thanks
Marc

I actually thought of getting some ecth for it when i first got it a couple years ago. But then I joined up the operation Cover Up Campaign, and i found a picture that i could base my dio on.
This kit goes together som nicely, that i am really enjoying doing this. I am, currently building a Tamiya SdKfz 251, which i am adding etch and some scratch building too. The kit is so outdated that my motivation is low.
But this Flak has re-awakened me.

I use oils for washes. Will post a new pic tonight.
I would really like some input when i have the pics with the washes up. They are not one of my strongpoints.
Thanks,
Marc
