Well, kinda done, except the bloody lens, which I am working on it the third time. So I will just consider it done, and work on the lens later with more clear glue. Trying to keep the weathering at minmum to showcase the nice detail of this kit, so basicly just a dusty Luchs.

Ola Dave

Really nice tank dude and a nice paintjob. Once again you show your great skills.

i have one question though. On the second pic there is a minor difference on the front plate.
The left side is higher then the right side. Maybe the piece was a bit warpedor else it might be glued not completely ok. Wich is my only nitpick as this is a excellent model

Great Job dude

Great kit, i'm building one myself, thanks for ref!
The front plate is ok, it's just the glacis armor that's is up on one of the them. Except the middle piece should be a little higher then the outher ones but that feature isn't presented in any kit i know. Don't bother, it's just a minor detail.

Lord Lens:

Looks pretty cool. Judging from your earlier posts, this has to be one of the nicer kits you've worked on as far as parts and overall quality. It shows, and I believe its a straight oob build??

Sorry to hear about the Lens problems---- ( I will say no more on this issue )

Nice work.I am impressed with the expertlie done and rustedly lookings muffler.
I hope the lens came out to yours satisfactions.
Is there a molding seam still on the pipe to the muffler,or is there a real casting seam in its palce on the prototype vehicle?

Dave,
It looks great to me.
What manufacturer have you made it from? And have you used any aftermarket kits?

I have a Luchs to build in the near future so any tips will be welcome!!

Dave,
very good work as usual. The only one thing I'll personally do is to work a bit more on the exaust. As per your pics the rust texture looks great is the tone that, in my view, needs a bit of attention, I'll give it a dark (black) wash and a very light drybrush with two or three tones of other rust colousr to orange...

hehe expertlie done SS, and manie warm wishes from me

I like the looks of that little cat, and wouldn't bother weathering it up too much more. I like the looks of the subtle dust job you did. Very, very nice (nt) hehe

very nice Dave. I like the muffler and the fact that it is not too overly weathered. Keep it up mate.

A great job, Dave. As Machu said, your tracks are just terrific. Can I ask what method you used on them? I’d sure like mine to come out looking like that.

Looks very nice, even sans lens
The lens is bestus leftus fore the mores expertile builders of model I thinks #:-)
Hehehehe

Seriuosly, looks great. My nit pic would be with the muffler..The texture looks wonderful, but looks a little too dark brown. Maybe a light drybrushing of burnt sienna would help with the rusty look. (I'm a rustiphile #:-) LOL )

Beautiful work. I will have to talk to you about how you get the wonderful dusting effect that you have

Excellent job overall. Nice, subtle weatherin. I like the rust on the muffler a lot.
One tiny mistake, and these huge digi pics grab these miniscule errors and magnify them. In the last phot, at the upper left corner of your muffler, just a drop of the muffler's paint got onto the main body opf the tank. You'l want to touch that up.

nice (n/t)

catette, Thanks (N/S)

And to all the others , thanks ya for your kind words.

to answer a few questions:

1. The left fender was a bit up, it's my half arse attempt to make it bend a bit. LOL.

2. The dusting was achieved by simply spray tamiya Buff

3. Tracks. it's rubber band in the kit. I first prime them with Tamiya Hull red. then spray gun metal on the track, once dry, I wash the track with brownish oil color, then dry brush with gunmetal again, and for the high point drybrushed with chrome silver.

you're welcome (p/o) (t/m) (n/s) (n/t) (h/t). Very nice looking though, can't really make any critiques. Just get that lens finished before ya gotta put a bucket over to hide the shame of it's failure.

Thanks (N/T) und GHSWS
