With the recent intervention of France in Mali we get to see some pictures of Russian armor belonging to the national army or even the insurgents. I've seen BRDM-2's, BTR-60's, Shilka's.
Apparently Mali also has some 30 or 40 T-54/55's but I haven't seen seen pics of them.
Maybe somebody has????

Patrick,
here is a site with a large number of pictures covering Operation Serval. You will see a lot of Russian stuff if you're patient enough to scroll through all the pages.

I have writen a couple of articles that may be of interest to you:
Mali Shilka
http://esotericarmour.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/mali-zsu-23-4-shilka.html
Mali PT-76
http://esotericarmour.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/mali-pt-76.html
The latter is due for a major update based on new information.
Other armour of Russian origin I have pictorial evidence of includes BDRM-2, BTR-60, BM-21, BTR-40*, BTR-152*
In regards to the T-54/55 I am currently writing an article on the subject. I have identified two or three examples of operational T-54B in service with the Mali army in the last few years, although there has been no evidence of their use in the the recent conflict.
The fact that those identified are T-54B may account for the possible misidentification of T-55s and potentially even similar looking chinese T-62 that are often reported in service.
