hey guys..I'm looking for any pics of the Iraqi army paint scheme . I have one grainy photo from Army Recognition, but hoping other exemplars exist.

The one I'm planning appears 2 tone- sand and maybe spinach green color...

Thanks for anny help!

thanks Jim..I hadn't seen that pic yet ! The one that caught my eye had an usual sand w/ spinach color camo, but it's the only one I can locate!

The overall sand color one w/ biege missile's is cool too!

Two versions paint:
All sand and 3M9M3 missiles (Nose: tan (like as Navy F-18 Hornets) and white body.
Original russian green stipes and sand, 3M9ME missiles, dark grey nose and white body, white or original green wings.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I have many schemes to choose from ...leaning towards the sand TEL w white missile body tan nose

I was mistaken. The photo I had was from Iraqi military site describing their AA defense. One pic shown of the tan/ green camo

Glad I can use the larger fin set from the HAD models set, looks like the Iraqi used them.

Hey thats mine!!!! I worked on that one. If you notice it says TSMO on the rear top left. I was refurbing it, cleaning it out and making it fully operational.

It was in El Paso with I another green one and the Kub. These we the only ones in the Us that worked electronically and mechanically. They were for EW OPFOR and such. I gather the Army brought it back to El Paso to add to the Hinds & Hips flying there. We used to have quite a few different air defense systems there. From man pads to the TOR. Ever have an A-6 say they will do a flyover at 500 feet in Straight Flush? Don't believe them. First the screen go all static, then watch with optics to track, the have the tank rock from jet wash/air turbulence at what seems like 200 ft or less. Great fun to drive & operate these things!

Frenchy- thanks again for your help! I had several sites for pics before my hard drive crashed. I saved these for future !

I heard NTC in Cali. had several Warsaw pact vehicles for identification . returning soldiers from Ft Hood mentioned them. Wasn't aware El Paso had a collection!
