Hi guys. I decided to take a break from building armor and try something different. This is a kit called Alex the Vampire. Its a large scale, probably 1/4th scale, resin kit. I painted it with an airbrush and i also used some oils. Any and all thoughts or comments are most welcome. . Just trying to have some fun.

WOW! Thats freakin awesome man! Superb skills on display, but where are the Tracks? If i had to guess he'd be a Nazi SS undead tank commander? Very nice.

Hey Dave, very nice job. Painting is quite realistic and the eyes are great. Always nice to break from the norm now and then.

wow.... isn't he a fun chap!
Very good paint job! Like the colours of the skin and veins, but the eyes are superb!
You have a talent for painting figures.

Wish I had one of those for home security. I could get rid of all my guns.

Ugly, ugly, ugly.
And I mean that as a compliment.

Funnily enough, he looks a bit like me. Seriously, and quite worryingly.
Although it's so different, I expect you still learned something that you can apply to one of your more "usual" models. It's great. Hope everyone else who has to see it appreciates it!

Thanks for the compliments guys. I know he is a bit different but he was a blast to paint. Lots of transparant layers and colors. Just built it up slowly. Its fun to not have to follow historical fact sometimes and just have fun....

Top painting. The skin tones and veins look fantastic. The black inside the mouth also lifts the tounge and teeth perfectly. Nice one.
