As most recall this tank started a a bit of a discussion regarding TD's. I have finally finished it and will get back to the TD group build, just a matter of what to build. Im pretty happy with it being its the first tank I have built in many a year to completion. Also my first time using an airbrush for camo and also the first time using Fruil tracks. So alot of first's here. Please let me know your thoughts as I will be building more Fine Molds kits as they are very nicely made and will be tanks...not my normal build. Thanks all for the fun discussion on this one!
Special thanks to SS-74 for maintaining his sense of humor through all this #:-) TD!

John, I think this came out very, very nice! Really! The little amount of weathering is perfect for this vehicle. I like the little bend in the grill on the engine deck. Nice touch. The tracks too look spot on.
Only one thing, is it possible to add a little dark wash around the turret's side hatch? It looks like it blends too much with the turret rather than looking like an openable door. Perhaps it's just the pic too. :-)

Mr. Selrach,
As Mr. Alpenflage states:
I also like to do alot of weathering but as stated above I kept it to a minimum..My paints wanted to flow...yet my hand said No! #:-) Thanks for the comments! John

Excellent work here. Nice paint job and subtle weathering. Keep in mind few if any Type 3 Chi-Nu's ever saw combat. Most were kept in Japan for Homeland defense, and I think only 66 Type 3's were completed by the end of WWII. If you happen to see wartime photos, most are pictures of captured Type 3's in a motorpool. Other photos show Type 3's under construction. Great work, and hopefully we can see more of it !

Lord Private
Overall good looking build on your part. Its especially interesting as its something a little different from what we normally see on RR---good stuff! Don't you just love those Friuls --its the sag baby!!!! As Ken mentioned the bent deck grill is a nice little touch. Good work.
