I've got a Verlinden BTU-55 and its designed for the Tamiya T-55 . It should fit a Trump T-62 without any issue too, right? The front end on both tanks isn't much different. Has anyone tried it? I've got a nice pic of a 62 in Afghanistan with the blade and I'd love to build it. Also, does anyone have a close up of all the hydraulic bits and fittings of one of these mounted on a T-62? Thanks.

Back from the dead BUMP. Received Bison's Prague Spring set for Christmas and the markings for a T-62 with BTU-55 has renewed my interest in the question I asked in the original post. Maybe someone will chime in the second time around?

Hi Erik,
Hope you had a nice Chritmas, If you have a look thru the campaign on the 55,62,64 on I think page 7, John has a set of links to a heap of T62 pictures, there maybe something in amongst all of them to help you out.
Cheers Mike

Be careful Erik, the Verlinden BTU-55 is an Israeli version. It has a different shaped hydraulic pack on the glacis from the Eastern Bloc type. CMK do the right type, and the one in the old Trumpeter T-55 kit is OK with work.

Blast! You're right, I feel like I should have noticed that. Thanks for pointing that out. Time to look for a CMK.

That looks a psyop speaker vehicle. Win their hearts and minds with tanks.
