I've seen them with both styles. These things are still in testing right? Didn't Zvezda or somebody announce a plastic one?

Zvezda announced, but nothing more than that.

Russia has tested them, but only Kurgistan has bought any. So far.

Nice conversion!

Im sure yoz meant Kazakhstan. Anyway, one has to be careful, there are different versions and several prototypes with external differences.

All the best,
Andreas

Hi Everybody;

Looks Fantastic, Ive long awaited the BMPT. Im afraid too Ask, How Much !! TBS makes some Nice Resin Conversions, hope the plastic one comes soon. From my Research there are Three Seperate Prototypes from two Competing Furms. I have pics showing it with Different Guns, and as Erik has already said, it can be seen with a Mix of different road wheels. My only Concern is that from the Pics is that some of the resin looks a Lil on the Thick side. Cheers; MIKE.

Hi TBS;

Sorry for this Fast Follow Up; First Question: From the pic, showing the parts Break-down, there arent any 2A42 Guns or Photo-Etch ? Are these A.M. Products ? Second: The Anti-RPG screens, is it included in the kit. My other concern is the Two part upper Hull.
Your kit is Awsome,--Congrats !

CHEERS; MIKE.

I am totally patient to wait for any conversion for the Leopard 2SG regardless of the producer.

I have faith in both ITA and TBS to produce top notch kits. I just know that TBS Models had possibly considered one for a future release.

The barrel is included as resin piece, but as with all resin barrels it's better to replace it with turn metal honestly, RB makes one
From what I heard the PE is making-in-process, won't be a huge fret beside these slat armors
He probably took the part breakdown shots when the most of his resin piece were casted, it's indeed not a complete parts list
Personally i think the two parts upper hull, apart being a bit odd, is very easy to build, as long as it doesn't wrap too much, but once again, single piece upper hull does wrap too...(I dry blew my Chieftain Mk11 for about 10 minutes to unwrap )

He had the 2SG started last time I heard but left out the progress due to his immense love in soviet armor
I was told that this year he will finish all the unfinished, including 2SG, a draco AA mod centauro (everything done cept the barrel), a Czech VT recovery vehicle based on the T-72M4CZ

He had made some other one-off scratch build along the way including Chinese Type-62 and IS7, too bad he's not casting them

The RB 2A42 is 1/32 scale since its designed for the Dragon BMP-2.

You need to put more up on eBay so we don't have to wait a week to buy one...

I would say put "BIN" instead of auction, everyone can then just grab it instead of wait for the auction to finish

Thanks, I (we) do appreciate it.
In addition to the quality and buildability of the resin, I'd be interedted in hearing about the cost and time of shipping.
Another vehicle I'd LOVE a model of, but may have to wait a while for...who knows maybe Trumpeter will kit one up.

Somewhere I still have an old SP designs version of an earlier iteration of the beast..

Oh you're only using that excuse to make yourself feel better about fueling your addiction.

Seriously though, I'm interested to see how this one works out.

SP Designs kit is still available, but it is the T-55 based BTRT.

I will post on shipping time in my review. Cost was $119 shipped through eBay, the only place to get it. I will also, in the BLOG I will do after the review, discuss buildability.

Zvezda have announced a plastic kit of this...we will see when it materializes as they have not posted any photos, art, or dates (other than the generic "for 2013"). It would most likely be based on their T-90 kit chassis.
