I thought the salt was snow. I like the cammo. The one oil stain kinda stands out a bit. The main thing I think you could do is paint Tamiya Clear Red over the silver in those goggles and I think they'll look just right.

I agree.. The oil stain was kinda too stark in contrast. Thanks for the advise on the goggles. I never thought of putting a clean color on top of them them. But, if I may ask, why red?

Guess I should have read your blog. It does look convincing, in some of the photos. I've heard that the cheap way to create snow is to use artificial sweetener. It is very fine. This keeps it from looking like ice.

Artifical Sweeteners ... I never thought of that .. I was reluctant to use flour or baking powder... What you suggested could be a very nice alternative. Thank you soooo much sir.
