hello, will follow this one for sure. Thats a nice kit conversion from Mouse House (Aussie Armour). Question - does'nt the troop hatch ventilator replace the tamiya kit domed ventilator ? (the large round disc on the deck just in front of the ramp is it's mating point) I think that has to be sanded off in the Tamiya kit to be accurate? wow been a while since I did one of these. I know the Academy kit did. Did that conversion occur during Nam ? WHat conversion are you using specifically? There is a couple around from memory..
Here's a link to mine. I have listed there some of "tips n tricks maybe your seeking..

Looking good so far Corie,
This car was also fitted with sponson armour and belly armour along with a flex mounted .30 cal on the T50.
Both antenna mounts should also be on the left side of the car.
A bit of history.
13A "The Nympho" ARN 134305
This car hit a 14kg mine on the 29 August 1970. The blast lifted the car up onto the fuel tank of a Centurion sitting next to it. The armour added did help quite a bit, but 11 men were still wounded and 1 killed.
Also of note is that this car was the first one to hit a large mine with the full armour suite fitted. There are quite a few photo's of it.
Cheers Jason

Hey Corie,
Looking good mate. I love the pose on the figure, leaning on one elbow like that makes it look so natural. Where did he come from? Did he come with the kit? Overall it looks to be a nice clean build with some nice subtle drybrushing work, although it might benefit further with a pin wash and some further weathering with pigments.
Cheers.

Hi, corie. I agree with Jason, in general is fine but those flat panels would need more live. Pin washes and oil discolorations would improve the overall look. I would also add more dust in the lower part of the front and in the flat surface of the top.
I'm new here and returning to the hobby after a long stop, so don't take me too serious. Regards.
