The only pics I could find are those from the Meng's webpage... Now that the kit is avalilable is there already a proper review of it? I don't care about the language, I just want to see what comes in the box... BTW, I ordered it days ago, but just can't wait too see it with my own eyes Best regards.

Why is it that Zvezda, Meng , Xact scale Models, cant bring out a T-80 or t-90 with a movable maingun ? Whats the problem ? I will have to retrofit all of them to make the gun movable, which is a lil hassle.

The flexible gun cover should be the problem to make it movable.

Maybe a small piece of attachable cloth could work.

Does anyone know if there is an upgrade for the barrel available, metal or resin?
I don't like the multi-piece plastic barrel.

I for one never understood the purpose of such gimmicks on scale replicas.
If it was a toy, fine, but I had this feature on one of Dragon's Tiger 1:35 models and found it peculiar. What am I supposed to do with it? Push it in with my finger and make explosion sounds with my lips?

Zvezda comes up with an update for their t-90 including a barrel. Can't say if it's correct from the pictures. But i'm sure we will receive some goodies for Meng ones

Some people like to pose their Tanks in certain positions in their dioramas. It has nothing with it being a toy or not

OK; but if you're going to display your model in any given position, you may adjust the main gun elevation with not too much effort. This meaning using epoxy putty or other materials to model your own mantlet cover.
Manufacturers making flexible gun mantlets for soviet/russian tanks will end in less accurate parts due to molding limitations of the flexible materials they can use...
And as said before, more toyish models.
