Hi all,
I want to show you my latest built. It´s another Syrian Arab Army T-72. This time with reactive armor and improvised cage-protection for the turret. The built is 95% finished. I´m still not sure If I should add the commanders MG. I used Tamiya´s 1/35 T-72 kit as a base for this. The resin conversion (turret+ERA blocks) is from Modelpoint. (Thank you again Erik!!) The front hull section without the extra-armor plate is from NK Patriota Models. The barrel needs some work too i.e. adding the straps around the thermal sleave. The resin wheels (late style roadwheels) are from PanzerArt. Some leftover PE-parts and scratched items were added. That tiny thing on the turret roof, between the two hatches, is a "action-camera". Some of you probably know the footages on youtube from ANNA? They mount cameras on syrian vehicles all the time, thats were the idea came from.
Thanks all for looking and your feedback is much appreciated. I´m no expert on the T-72 so I´m sure some details are wrong or missing.
All the best,
Andreas

Hello!
Thank you very much for your nice comments. i hope I can move on as soon as possible with the paintjob. Iw ill post more when ready.
I was asked from another member to post some pics of the instructions from the Modelpoint sets and I made a pic of the ERA bricks too. Please keep in mind that only the ERA on the hull fron/sides are single parts. The turret has almost all ERA molded in place. Very nicely done by the way.
All the best,
Andreas
