Hey Cyanoacrylate aficionados,
With the new AFV Club AEC Armoured Command Vehicle Dorchester in circulation , would it be good to have a Command & Control campaign? I am not able to build anything at the present time, but I thought it would be good to see what other people come up with Dorchesters, 577s, M-20s etc.
Thanks,
Major Steuben

Command and control...
One sorta "obvious" potential player would be one of those box-like "Kleiner PanzerBefehlsWagen 1-B" kits - Dragon offers 3 (albeit 2 are older and maybe oop?) and they are nice builds.
Or... some others in the WWII German arena:
CyberHobby Befehls-Panther G
CyberHobby Panther mit aufgesetztem PzKpfw IV turm
CyberHobby/Dragon Befehls-Marder III M
CyberHobby Befehls-Nashorn
CyberHobby Jagdpanzer IV-befehls
Dragon "Leichte Funk" Pz.Kpfw 1-A
A special and odd double-kit:
CyberHobby Pz.Kpfw III ausf J funk/control tank w/ Borgward IV-B
Tristar Pz.Kpfw 38(t) ausf G (Befehls option)
Tristar Pz.Kpfw 38(t) ausf B (Befehls option)
Maquette same subject as above...
AFV Club SdKfz 263 armored radio/command car
Bronco put out a super cool kit of the ex-British Mk. IV A-13 used to command and control the "flammpanzer" units in Russia in 1942. I already did that one, so... not a possible for me, but...!
and there are various befehls versions of Tigers, Pz.III and IV, SdKfz 234/x cars, SdKfz 250/ and 251/ halftrack command versions, command options for Sturmpanzer IV brumbar, etc. I would guess some or many of the SdKfz 223, SdKfz 13, SdKfz 2 cars would also count, as perhaps would that HobbyBoss SdKfz 254 "scout car".
Frankly, if I understand right what you may be suggesting by "Command and Control", there are oodles of potential German entrants! Seems that there could be enough for a German "Kommand (Befehls) Kampaign"!
I've only pointed at some of the German WWII "command" stuff I have and or know of. Just a primer for this pump!
IF this takes off, I would definitely toss my hat in as a player! (No, not a PROMISE that I'll actually get anything finished, but I WOULD start a "command" build! )
I have several potential subjects - all of which are already clamoring for a chance to get clipped, cleaned, cemented together, and painted!
"Zu Befehl, mein Herr!"
