Maybe not the right forum (feel free to move the thread), but as it is T-72 related, here I go: I have a Tamiya T-72, it comes with decals for an Iraqi T-72. I also have spare decals from a Zvezda T-72 for a Asad Babil. I heard that the Asad Babil have some differences when compared to a Russian T-72, something about being like a Polish-built T-72 (I'd like to know the differences between Polish-built and Russian-built T-72s), some bumpers removed and an armor plate at the rear of the hull, but I like to have some photo reference to make the modifications. Thanks a lot in advance. Best regards.

José.

Hi Jose;

From the sources that ive gathered, the Assad Babil was a Knocked Down kit that was shipped from Poland and put back together in Iraq. But other sources have said that they also did the same too the other T-72s that they received from the Checks and the Soviets.
If your not into Accuracy then the Tamiya kit will be fine,
altho the turret is not the same turret that's on the Real Vehicle as its Smaller size wise.
Good Luck with your Build; MIKE.
