But was that truck used in Afghanistan ?
Were there "gun truck" versions ?
Miniman Factory site shows one with a D-30 on the rear deck. Where was it used ?

thanks for the link, I was asking because I never knew that TOS was used in Afghanistan, now I know, Charikar valley south of Salang, operation Typhoon, the last major operation by the Soviet army in Afghanistan.

Here's another view of the Croatian guntruck that appears to be in fact based on the earlier KrAZ 214 truck, but it shouldn't be too hard to turn a 255 into a 214

That Cuban truck (above) has very similar cammo colours to Finnish vehicles.
Speaking of which, Finland also used the Kraz I believe. The Finnish splinter cammo makes for an attractive vehicle.
